Some people believe that homeschooling is the thing of the past and it is incompatible with the modern world. I completely agree with the statement mentioned above and in this essay, I will explain my opinion further.
There are many reasons why I presume learning at school with other kids is more beneficial to the child than homeschooling. Firstly, because of housing and groceries are expensive nowadays, both father and mother required to work at full time jobs. This is the biggest problem of teaching kids at home, which is parents are not always have free time to work with them or they may be too tired at the end of the day. Secondly, most children develop their social skills by talking/spending time with their peers, which school is perfect place for that. Some studies have shown that kids who study at home are more likely to become introverts.
Furthermore, schools have more sophisticated recources to teach students and lots of qualified teachers work there. Parents might have graduated collage many years ago, so their knowledge about certain subjects may be forgotten. Also, they probably can’t educate children about 5-6 subjects as school does. For example, at school there are dozens of educators that specilize at particular field and have many years of teaching experience. So because of the all reasons I’ve provided in this essay, I don’t think studying at home can beat going to school.
In conclusion, some individuals think that homeschooling is old style of learning and it is better to study at school. I totally agree with this point of view.
