Nowadays more and more technologies are being developed. Some of them are made for our entertainment, but most of them are used to help our industrial countries to develop. According to statistics, the amount of people being replaced by robots is enhancing – most of the menial work is now accomplished by robots. But does it mean that people will be jobless in the nearest future? I may assure you – no, and I will give you several reasons why I think so.
Firstly, robots are expected to replace people only with hard work, that does not require any particularly skills. They will complete mundane, repetitive work, such as answering phone calls, filling in the documents or doing some computations. It will be cheaper for employers to buy such a robot instead of paying monthly salary. This is the main reason why robots are taking over people in a simple clerical work.
The second reason is that employees are bound to enhance their communicative skills to fulfil new duties, such as work with clients. Moreover, jobs of the future will require creativity and flexibility, so workers would be able to lead plenty of projects simultaneously, as far as completing tasks from different realms of their job. That is why people need to be ready to constantly learn something new, investigate novel ways of tackling the issues and emerging ways to be more productive than ever before.
In conclusion, I would like to say, that despite the idea of artificial intelligence can replace people can seem quite terrifying, there is nothing to worry about – people always will be able to find themselves a well-paid work in future.
