It is believed that due to various activities of humans, plants and animals are affecting negatively around the globe. While some individuals argue that even if we do something, it can’t change anything because nature is damaged already; others hold the view that it is never too late to take some actions. However, in my perspective something is better than nothing, so rather than doing nothing it is always better to take an action. This essay will explore both outlooks in detail before reaching a well-reasoned conclusion.
On one hand, there are several factors why people think that they should not do anything about it because it is in vain. Firstly, various human projects have destroyed the habitats of animals. This viewpoint is substantiated by the following example. For instance, development of various societies and new housing schemes narrowed down the living places for many animals and birds that lead to endangerment of species. Moreover, deforestation is causing the global warming that is affecting the different plants because the temperature of earth is reaching a peak by every passing year.
On the contrary, although we can’t deny that human activity has drawbacks on plants and animals, yet we have enough time to deal with it. One notable reason is that despite of the damage to the mother earth that humans has caused, it can effectively reverse it through natural processes. For example, when an area becomes too hot, it starts raining for the sake of plants and animals nourishment. Furthermore, the glaciers are also not affecting but gradually, which makes some people think that we have enough time. Hence, it is imperative to recognize these complexities when evaluating the overall impact.
In conclusion, while both sides of the arguments present valid points, one thing is clear that human activity is affecting the lives of plants and animals negatively. I believe that it has caused enough damage already and if we wait to take any action, it will drastically damage the habitats of further species. To ensure this, possible actions must be carefully managed to achieve a more sustainable result for society.
