There exists a divergence of opinions whether people should take care of their health or is it authorities responsibility. This essay will examine both point of views, before articulating my viewpoint which aligns with the premise that it is obligatory for governments to look after citizens overall wellbeing as long as their health worsened because of working for state.
Proponents of the idea that individuals should pay for the sustenance of their health contend that this is necessary for sustenance of balance within the country. They argue that it may put states economy under strain as long as authority should also provide citizens with accommodation, wages, medical and other services.Additionally, they believe,It is unnecessary for country to ensure freehealthcare for residents due to some individuals may find this services unsuitable for their needs. They may need special treatment in order to recover which authorities cannot provide.
Conversely,I contend that government aid is of paramount importance for some citizens who are under poverty line.Monetary aid given to these people by government play fundamental role in treatment of poverty driven individuals. On top of that,it may prevent further negative consequences resulted due to complaints of citizens who are not received health aid from government, thereby reducing risks associated with social unrest. Moreover, care of authorities may influence citizens to be more productive as long as they realise state will care for them in their later life, thus leading to economic advancements in the country.
In nutshell, while not allocating funds for citizens healthcare undeniably saves sustainable amount of country’s budget,I believe that focus of country’s investment should predominantly rest on medical development for people.Dispensing medical services for free of charge not only satisfy citizens who need medical aid but also fosters social stability, thereby giving a motive for individuals to work hard for their country’s prosperity.
