It is undeniable that education plays a crucial role in the progress of society. Over the last few decades, a literacy rate in few countries is falling. The main reason behind this issue is poverty, which hinders people to access academic learning. This issue negatively affects both people and society, as these people struggle to get good jobs and leading a poor lifestyle.

To begin with, the primary reason behind illiteracy in many countries is lack of sufficient funds and other necessary teaching infrastructre. In recent times, people belong to unprivileged families cannot afford the expenses of education, resulting in increasing number of uneducated people in society. For example, in many developing countries, such as Afghanistan, South Sudan and Chad people are struggling to get primary education in schools due to insufficient budget.

This problem has several effects on both individuals and society. Firstly, the uneducated people cannot secure jobs in well known companies, as all these organizations demand university education, resulting in poverty among these people. Furthermore, they had to work hard to earn their livings. However, this contributes to lower the standard of society, in which people follow poor lifestyle in the absence of money. Furthermore, it also affects the health of society, as these people cannot get treatment for several diseases due to the unawareness.

In light of the aforementioned, nowadays people in many developing countries cannot access education because of unawareness and absence of schools and educators. Consequently, the people of these nations suffer from poverty which affects the progress of any society.
