In terms of personal and professional development, co-operation should be prioritized instead of competition as humans were created to thrive together and it is obvious from our past civilizations that the group of people who do not want to co-operate ended up with bad outcomes. In this essay I am going to make some arguments why I believe people should co-operate each other in order to succeed in both professional and personal lives.
Each human is born with a special characteristic and we are supposed to help others in times of need. For example, a society consists of different types of people, some might have good knowledge about growing crops and the remaining may have good knowledge about trading or business. Everyone should share what they have with others as we can full-fill our needs by ourselves. Co-operation leads to advancement, peace, and opens many doors for others. For example, an average class usually consists of students from different backgrounds with different abilities, if they want to compete others, they will not do really well. Instead, if they help each other and consider others as co-operator, they will be able gather knowledge and obtain skills from others.
On the other hand, competition can be beneficial in certain cases such as sports. Competition in sports motivates sportsmen to work harder and do their best, which leads to desired progress.
In conclusion, despite the fact that competition may bring some advantages in many cases, I firmly believe that we should assist others with our best in every single aspect of our lives. And we should not try to outcompete others until it comes to our personal value.
