Some people believe that the presence of tutors and learning centres in rural areas can be the most effective way for kids and public who does not have opportunity to educated themselves, while others think that the supply of the digital machines and the web in these areas is more efficient.
On the one hand, people who support this view feel that, the construction of formal education buildings and allocation of teachers will provide the basic educational resources which is a need for everyone during the commencement of their student life. Moreover, these ventures are essential for developing leadership and team work skills. One reason is that interaction among the learners can increase by participate in cocurricular activities and group projects. For instance, a study conducted in Africa in the year 2017 shows that the building of one school in each locale has shown a significant increase of around 8% in national literacy rate.
On the other hand, others argue that introduction of computers and online learning platforms is aids students to gain knowledge when there is no access of offline education. This is because it is cheap, time saving and easy to implement in densely populated zones. An example for this is an article published by The Times of India in 2021 which illustrates that the Physics Whallah coaching platform for entrance exams in India made around 30,000 or more new enrolments of students by deducing the course price and making it accessible to individuals from poor background.
In conclusion, both views have their explanations. However, I believe that the establishment of schooling area and appointing educator in hamlets is crucial for educating the villagers because it helps in enhancing basic skills required in early stages of one’s life.
