Unlike previous decades, nowadays although population lives in the same area some people have never seen each other because interaction has been reduced due to the introduction of a digitalized world. Thus, there is a communication trouble that everyone should overcome because it can lead to some mental health diseases. I believe, that implementing some kind of socialization programs can overcome the aforementioned issue.
Being aware about the people near to oneself commonly requires spending time on exchanging ideas and interacting with them, but metropolitan areas saw an increase in population , thus knowing each other can be difficult today. On the other hand, the introduction of the internet and computer made us spending a great proportion of our daily time meting virtually people from overseas instead of the ones living close to us, it did not happen in the past frequently. For instance, several students talk about virtual gaming friends which they have never been in touch, however they do not actually understand how these persons behave, and normally they waste more that 8 hours per day which is not normal. According to my perspective, staying in the same place talking to a stranger is unsane, unsafe and stressful. In this sense, people need to interact with real humans , similarly, they should be familiarized with peers living around them mainly because it will improve their life style and reduce the risk of mental illnesses.
Due to the future negative implications of the limited interaction between neighbours there are several actions to take in order to enhance social interactions among them. One of the main steps to address the handicap is being part of social campaigns, that would be supported by the government, these programs must include inviting and motivating participants by rewarding them . For example, sport events in the neighbourhood could be organized weekly, moreover, volunteering campaigns designed to find common objectives are appropriate to foster a sense of family among participants. In general, we should raise awareness about collaborating with the rest of the community as it contributes positively to neighbourhood’s brain safety.
To conclude, without a doubt being conscious about the people located around oneself has diminished as a result of the reduced spare time and online distractors, however, this can be changed through the deployment of pressing programs in housing areas. Furthermore, according to my thoughts, If citizens do not take action in advance about the downsides of the decrement in social interaction, it will bring potential mental health problems and risks in the future.
