In addition to that, car-pooling should be implemented by the citizens. In which, they can also share the ride of their individual cars with others who are going to the same directions. This will efficiently utilize and save a lot of fuel and decrease the number of vehicles on the road.
By adopting these strategies, the government as well as the individuals can reduce the traffic at an extent level, prevent the pollution and save the environment even after using the private cars.
