Note: Both the topic and the essay were created by one of our users.

Evolution taughted the humanity to eat as much as possible. Many years ago the lack of food and unability to store it for a long run evolved humen to the best survivance strategy: consume immediately everything eatable aroung. Evolution made eating very pleasant for us, food triggers endorphines production and make us happy. However, nowadays there are a lot of products in wealthy countries, much more than needed for, which in combination with evolutional principle describe above induces growing problem of childhood obesity.

Studies shows drammatic grow of the average child’s weight making individuals think about children’s health. One of the most common suggestion is to change adults own lifestyle first, start doing sport, be mindful in terms of eating habits, etc. Due to well know phenomena that chilren mirror parents, such behaviour would affect both kids and adults health. Moreover, parents should also control the childrens junk food consumption, do not restrict everything too strong to be a good parent on the one hand, and explain the harm of unhealhy food and do not allow too much eating on the other hand.

Besides the fact that families should cary children, goverments are also interested in natinal well-being. They could, for example, invest into children’s sport clubs, orginise more local sport events, explain the importance of healthy habits in municipal primary schools. Or even stimulate sports by giving privileges to sportsmen. For instance, Russian universities assumes sport achivements as a huge plus for an aplicant.

To sum up, I would say that both individuals and goverments should take pains to stimulate young generation to be more kind and mindful to trackle the problem of obesity, as evolution, unfortunatelly, plays agains us in the present.
