Band 6+: In many countries, fast food is becoming increasingly popular. Some people believe that this trend has a negative impact on individuals and society. To what extent do you agree or disagree with this statement?

Note: Both the topic and the essay were created by one of our users.

The growth of fast food industry in the entire world has become astonishing. The busy lives of people has resulted in the increasing popularity of fast people in almost all the countries, but it has seemed negative for most of the people. I do believe that the trend of eating out culture is not the best way to live a healthy life and costs way too much in this economy.

Although there are a lot of fast food chains and it is easily available anywhere any time of the day, people should only eat fast food when it is really necessary. It is not healthy to eat out often. The fast food contains various ingredients which are not good for our body as well as our mind. What we consume in our body system affects us sooner or later and can lead to diseases as well. For example, a woman who consumed a lot of fast food during her pregnancy gave birth to an abnormal infant because of all the harmful ingredients she ate.

Furthermore, it is undeniable that everything has become costly in this world, which also includes the food we eat. If a person is eating fast food every day or frequently, then he/she is spending a huge amount of money on food. It adversely and negatively impacts the individuals. For instance, a normal burger at KFC costs about 70-80 Baht and if a person is consuming fast food often he will undoubtedly be spending a huge chunk of his/her income.

To conclude, even though the fast food trend has made the lives of people somewhat easier and convenient, it has a huge negative impact on the individuals and the society as it is unhealthy and expensive.

Although some people around the world purchase an excessive amount of clothes, this is primarily because pervasive media hype and cheap manufacturing attract consumers. From my perspective, a highly practical approach to tackle this issue is through sustainable consumption campaigns. The primary drivers of this overconsumption are aggressive brand advertising and the affordability of fast […]

Obesity is becoming a serious health problem in many parts of the world. Across the ever-shifting landscape of the global economy, technological innovation has repeatedly redrawn the boundaries between human labour, productivity and prosperity. Nowadays the interconnection between the higher development of countries and the growth in the level of tourism can be objectively seen.
