Goverments have limited budgets , so they must choose carefully how to spend money on transport. Some people argue that goverments need to focus more on the high speed rail to connect cities, while others thinks they need to prirotize local transport. Both options have benefits, but I believe local transport should be the priority because it serves more people every day.
supportes of high speed rail argue that it coonekts the major cities wich helps workers , students and toursts. as an example my sister oten finds hard to travel to her university. on the other hanad high speed rail cannot solve immercity traffic jams.for instance, as fast train from samarqand to tashkent does not help an ordinary worker stuck in morning traffic.
On the other hand, supporters of local transport argue that Better buses and light rail can encourage people to use public transport instead of cars wich can reduce congestion. To illustrate, if a city provides more frequent buses and reliable light rail services, people may choose public transport instead of driving their cars to work. As a result, there would be fewer cars on the roads, which could reduce traffic congestion. Furthermore not everyone travels between major cities, but many people need transport inside their own city every day.
In conclusion, although high-speed rail has benefits, i bevielve that goverments should give more importance to local transport because it helps more people every day
