Some elderly people live with nurses in their homes a long time without their sons and daughters. This occasion has been seen in some European countries for a long time. It has several advantages and disadvantages. In this essay I will discuss both viewpoints.
One of the main advantages is the high level of safety. The children of elderly people are busy with work all the time and cannot spend enough time with their parents. A solution to this issue is nursing homes. They support elderly people every day, so they can feel safe. The second advantages is peaceful life, if they live in a hospital, there are more noise, so they cannot relax. This is because, opening of doors, ambulance and car sounds create noise.
On the other hand, a significant disadvantage is high costs. In European countries, nursing service are expensive. As a consequence, elderly people lose a lot money and in some developed countries the government helps them with these fees. Another disadvantage is lack of fresh air. There are unpleasant smells in the rooms because some medications spread in the air. Moreover windows and doors are often kept closed during the day, so fresh air cannot circulate.
In my opinion, Children should live with their grandparents so they do not face these problems, they can use nursing services only when necessary.
