Nowadays, in many places criminals commit a crime after being released from jail. I think there are several causes for this, perhaps out being not accepted by society and the feeling of beloning only in the prison, or they assume that they have gotten experienced in lawbreaking. To solve this problem goverments should take actions towards educationg prisoners of certein skills and close control after releasing.
Some offenders reoffend the law because civilized society believes that they are not belonged there. Often criminals are protrayed as an evil beings as if there are not capable of changing. Therefore, society avoids them by not include them to social events and not hiring them as an employee. Consequently, criminals violate the law to go back where they feel belonged.
There also some individuals who think that they are more confident from the last offence. Many of those people breach the rules as if they are not going to be caught as the last time, thinking that they have gotten experienced, which sometimes turns out to be true, but mostly they get prisoned back. For example, many drug dealers break the law several times even after enprisonment.
Two main actions can be taken to tackle this widespread trend. One solution might be educationg prisinors to hadle some rudimentary jobs such as sewing, programming, and crafting as this will help them find their communities or persue work to easilly blend in. For example, in Norway, prisinors are offerd to take extensive trainings on work-qualification course or course that prepares them to realese. Second one is to set a few months-long control after a release, which will help to manage one’s action in society. This practice, is already tested in several countiries, for instance in aformatined Norway.
In conclusion, society’s critisim and offenders’ confidence might be to main reasons why reoffence happens often. Eduction of criminals and close control might be solutions on this matter.
