There is no denying the fact that society is changing at the rapid pace. In several nations, family planning is being delayed due to several reasons. In my opinion, it is a negative development. The ensuing paragraphs will articulate reasons behind this phenomena and my viewpoint before coming to a conclusion.
This paragraph will discuss why people are avoiding the kids at the early stage of their lives. The most important point is, nowadays, career is the most important priority of youth. Therefore, they tend focus solely on the work. Doing family planning with their career is a big responsibility and might hurt their careers. Thus, there is an upward
trend of avoiding family-planning during an early stage of the career. To illustrate this, a recent survery from the Oxford University cited that 47% of workers are single or don’t have the children cause their mindset is an extremely career-oriented.
However, it has certain drawbacks to the society and themselves as well. First and foremost, a genration gap between parents and children will increase over the time. As a result, their relations during future years might get affected. Moreover, after certain age it would be hard to conceive children. Hence, they have to spend hard-earned money on the medical procedures. Additionally, it can also affect an individual’s mental health due to the stress of these procedures.
Taking everything into consideration, I conclude by saying that being career oriented is a good mindet. However, it is a good practice to do family-planning at appropriate age as career and family both are part of lives and go hand-in-hand.
