It is said that, in many nations, people who are living in suburban areas tend to relocate to cities. Although this trend may be because of accessing to various number of facilities and more job opportunities in the big cities, some drawbacks, such as overpopulation and pollution can occur as a result.
To begin with, one of the primary reasons of moving numerous amount of people toward metropolises is availability of many amenities. This means that due to high-tech and available facilities in those regions, it will be easy for people to meet their needs in a quite short time. For instance, if someone has an emergency situation, a hospital can be found easily. In addition, another advantage of living in a city is variety of occupation offers. This is mainly because of the existence of many companies, which are mostly located in the city centers, offering lots of job offers to citizens.
However, the relocation toward metropolises can cause some troubles as well. Firstly, this matter would result in overpopulation. In this view, overpopulated regions would suffer from high-priced living expenses, such as house renting, public transportation, and shopping. Thus, this may require people to work countless hours; meanwhile, causing strain and pressure. Moreover, overpopulated areas has always suffered from pollutions, especially air pollution, which is caused by using plenty of private cars. For example, in order to reach a destination, people may need to drive many hours owing to traffic in highways.
In conclusion, although there is a fact that many individuals are relocating to metropolises because of more availability of amenities and job opportunities, it can result in overpopulation, which itself can cause many issues, such as increase price and pollution.
