Band 6+: in many countries people moving from rural areas to urban areas.why do you think that is?What problems can cause

Note: Both the topic and the essay were created by one of our users.

In recent times, people are relocating from country side areas to metropolitan areas. One of the most noticeable reasons for It gives better facilities, although it also has several negative impacts on rural communities.

To begin with, urban regions generally provide a wide range of amenities. To explain, there is adequate transportation, infrastructure, healthcare, as well as academic institutions such as schools, colleges and universities in city zones. As a result, people are really into living urban areas because city life is easier and more enjoyable. For example, nowadays, a growing number of people live in urban areas because city life provides different types of facilities in comparison with remote areas. Additionally, urban areas offer many employment opportunities for people because they are home to various industries, factories and multinational companies.

Secondly, one of the main problems is that cost of living is increasing. In explanation, much cultivable land and many houses remain unused in remote areas owning to the city-oriented trend. Therefore, the population of cities is increasing, while food production is declining. For instance, a news conducted by daily star, Japan has faced these problems. This is because many people have become urban-oriented in search of job. as a consequence, many villages have become almost uninhabited, and this has an impact on agriculture, farming, and local businesses. In addition, uninhabited villages can become shelter for terrorist groups on account of absence of people.

In conclusion, this essay based on the reflection seen above believes that although rural areas offer a peaceful environment and support agriculture, I believe that cities provide better employment opportunities and modern facilities. However, maintaining a balance between urban and rural development is essential.
