In recent years, a lot of of money is spent searching for oil resources. Some people argue that this resources will run out, and it would be more sensible to spend some of the money invested on developing new sources. Although it is impractical to substitute all the oil sources by new ones in a close future, it is very important that we start searching and opting for different solutions.

On the one hand, most of the countries don’t have the necessary equipment to make use of new sources of power, sush as, wind and solar. To construct structures that allow recive energy from the wind and the sun requires not only years of planing but also a lot of money whereas oil is much more easy to get and practical use. For this reason, countries have to spend a lot of money to start to make use of the renewble energies.

On the other hand, all the investment done in renewable energies will be usefull because renewable energies are much more chepear than oil sourses. In addtion, the use of oil sources has consequences to the environment. The use of oil increases carbon emissions contributing to climate change and air pollution. Moreover oil resourses are limited, meaning that we will always have to find another resourses. Therefore, instead of spending more money in something that eventually will end, we may start investing on something that is more cheap, sustainable and unlimited.

In conclusion, due to the lack of resourses to use renewable energies in many contries, converting the use of oil sourses for this type of sources will be an expensive and long process. However, we should start spending money on this as soon as possible, not only because in the long term will be cheaper but also beacause it’s more sustainable and it’s unlimited, while oil is a limited resourse and eventually will not be availble worldwide.
