I, on the other hand, firmly believe that the popularity of Western fashion is a detrimental development due to the erosion of traditional culture and identities. For example, in Vietnam, if we only wear western clothes and tend to adopt western values and beliefs, which can lead to the loss of cultural diversity. Another disadvantage of an increase in the number of western clothes is that it can be harmful to the environment. The transportation of clothing across the globe contributes to greenhouse gas emissions and carbon footprint, and therefore, this trend may not be environmentally friendly.
In conclusion, the trend of influence of western dresses is due to globalization and the impact of famous celebrities. And I firmly believe that this development is negative due to the aforementioned reasons above.
