Band 6+: In many countries people through our lot of food from restaurants and shop why do think people waste in this way what can be done to reduce the amount of food thrown away

Note: Both the topic and the essay were created by one of our users.

Nowadays, when life has become much easier than it was in the past, food wasting in restaurants and shops is becoming more common. In many countries, this problem even happens everyday. If wasting food continues, the world will no longer face starvation – which happened in the past – again. This essay will point out the causes and solutions to this problem.

Firstly, people who go to the restaurants and do not finish all the food they ordered is the biggest cause of this problem. In many countries today, families tend to eat out in shops more than at home. They, especially the wealthy, often order a lot of food that they and their kids like but are unable to finish it all. This actually happens at lots of restaurants today, though. Moreover, many restaurants and shops nowadays usually buy too many ingredients from the providers and could not use them all before they start rotting. Because of having lots of customers, a variety of restaurants think that they can cook and sell all of the food they buy, no matter how much it is. But instead of buying fresh new ingredients everyday, they often buy a lot of food at one time. This is a very common thing in many shops.

According to these causes listed above, we can solve food wasting by many solutions. First of all, families should avoid eating out too much at restaurants. Making their own food at home not only helps them to make it easier to make the right diet for each member but also makes the atmosphere in the families grow closer. In addition, restaurants and shops could stop buying too much food to avoid them from rotting. They should buy new ingredients from the providers everyday. This can help the food served to customers fresher and newer too.

In conclusion, food wasting among restaurants and shops is a well-known problem that is caused by customers and the shops. Nevertheless, by reducing the amount of food people buy everyday a little, this issue will be effectively solved.
