It is argued that people should be prohibited to use plastic shopping bags because they cause water and land pollution. This is also major problem of garbage. In my opinion, using of plastic bag can be banded. I will explain the reasons why in the following paragraphs.
One reasons for my view is that plastic bags are the major cause of environmental pollution. This is because it took so many years to decompose the plastic, which has harmful effects on wildlife. For example, if people throw away the plastic bags, this can not to compose immediately. During this time, some wildlife such as turtles or fish may eat this plastic accidentally. Unfortunately, this can lead to serious health problems or even death. Therefore, plastic bags not only damage the ocean but also harmful effects on sea creatures.
Another reason is that nowadays, there are alternative goods that we can already use. This means that if government ban to use plastic bags, there are not so much effects in our daily lives. For instance, in Japan, when we went shopping at supermarket, people could get the plastic bags for free a few years ago. However, now customers have to pay for this. As a result people have tried using eco-bags or paper bags for shopping. Thus, plastic bags are no longer essential in our daily lives.
In conclusion, plastic bags have negative impact on the environment and animals. However, people can use alternative souses replace to use plastic bags. These are the reasons why I believe that plastic bags can be b
