most of the countries adolescents are preferred to do part-time jobs. it is considered that teenagers attain many social skills such as communication, team working and solving problems while doing work in office. this essay will discuss advantages along with disadvantages of the notion in forthcoming paragraphs
To commence with merits, the predominant one is gaining valuable experience. In other words entering in adulthood, youth people can obtain expertness in time management, financial understand and discipline in their future lives with the help of working after school hours. It is also helpful them to earn extra money and work collaboratively in the work environment. To cite an example,BBC (british broadcasting corporation) news shows 40% of the teens are well-behaved in every field due to the working they do. Hence, if teenagers will do short-term jobs they get personal development and career path exploration in the future.
Furthermore shifting towards demerits, affecting academic is the main disadvantages. To explicate it, they give more preferences to do temporary work instead of studying which affects their grade. For instance, working after school hours, adolescents can only concentrate 30% of their time to do study, however, rest of the percentage shows they more indulging in part-time jobs, a survey shows which held in the UK. As a result in this young age, they have more stress to do job which consequences are less score in academic field.
