There has always been a debatable issue in our society pertaining to whether teenagers should be encouraged to take on part-time. Some consider that there are some benefits behind this tendency, while others are skeptical about it, and they contemplate that it has more cons than pros. I am in complete agreement with the former standpoint, and in the forthcoming paragraphs, i shall explain my position.
Firstly, there are some inevitable drawback that shoul be advocate and the most detrimental aspect of whether teenagers should be encouraged to take on part-time jobs is that If teenagers spend too much time working, it can reduce their focus on schoolwork and studies, resulting in lower academic performance. Moreover, it is also deemed that for teenagers, a lot of work and study can have a negative effect on their physical and mental state, which can lead to fatigue, stress or depression.
While there are unambiguous disadvantages like the one mentioned above, benefits are also a great deal, and firstly, it can be stated that through work, teenagers learn about the labor market, develop time management, sense of responsibility and social skills.Besides, it can also be acknowledged that Part-time jobs help teens earn their own money and feel more financially responsible.In conclusion, there are some obvious disadvantages points of whether teenagers should be encouraged to take on part-time jobs, however, as every coin has two sides, there are more than a few benefits of this, such as they learn about the labor market, devolop time management and part time jobs help teens earn their own money. These complete outweigh its demerits.
