Recently, it has come to our attention that the consumption of fast food is at its peak in enormous countries. Some people think that increasing the consumption of junk foods would benefit communities in terms of economics, while others argue otherwise. This essay will discuss the cost of raising instant food and the benefits of it.
On the one hand, the growth of a lack of processed foods has been contributing to economic accretion. In some cities, the famous junk food restaurant has expanded massively and created a huge market job. Indirectly, the company has helped up unemployment problem in these countries. In addition, the gain will be donated to upscaling revenue of local government by taxation. For example, the income restaurant tax in Jakarta City is a considerable amount for the budget’s portion.
On the other hand, fast food has low nutritional value, produced with little or no preparation. Junk food, loaded with excessive sugar and artificial addiction, escalates the potential of latent illness. For instance, scientists conveyed that the consumption of junk food raises the risk of obesity, diabetes, and being overweight. Furthermore, the side effects of eating them are mental-health dysfunction. Kids or adults who extremely eat instant dishes regularly, tend to have uncontrolled mood swings and energy levels.
In my view, all stakeholders should take an essential role in addressing both business and health issues according to junk food raise. Enterprise parties have to consider adding nutrition and healthy ingredients to contribute to a fit community. Moreover, Public parties are obligated to provide a set of policies that give appropriate and comprehensive guidelines for citizenship and enterprises regarding living sustainability and cultivating a good environment.
In conclusion, profit-raising consumption of junk food does not avoid the costs that come with it. The collaboration of all parties needs to engage in tackling excess and creating good opportunities in future.
