Humanity witnessed a profound change in intensive progress of transportation. But there are too many of vehicles, thus Government decided to replace them by a public transport. As buses do less environmental pollution, I completely agree with this opinion.
To begin with, harmful gases from cars, like carbon dioxide or methan, can lead to not only ecological issues, but also have a detrimental effect on public healthcare. Ignoring this problem can lead to decreasing in population, reduction of average life expectancy or even to appearing of new viruses and illness. Replacing all harmful transport with public ones could narrow the emission and make air cleaner.
Another factor to consider, the high traffic in cities is a problem as well. The enormous number of vehicles during peak ours, times where traffic is the highest, makes it problematic to move from one location to another, as they get stuck in the road. The less transports are in the city, the faster they become, thus using public buses or metro instead personal cars could resolve this problem. Moreover, the fact that it requires more time to reach another location, means that transport’s engines will work more. Consequently, as emission is proportional to working time of engine, this leads to air pollution again.
To conclude, analyzing all these problems and possible solution to them, I am convinced that replacing personal tranport with public is the best option for contemprorary situation in the cities.
