Disappearance of wildlife species is a growing problem in the modern world nowadays. In this essay I will highlight some key reasons why, in many countries, the number of animals and plants is reducing, and will look into some consequent effects on climate and environment.
Perhaps the most dangerous phenomenon gripping the world today is deforestation and hunting. The reasons for this are as follows: cutting of forests along with endangered plant species, and hunting animals for earning money by selling animal skins and teeth. Some plants and animals are in more precious demand in the international market, such as animals like cheetahs, tigers, and lions, and teeth of elephants, sharks, and rhinoceroses. Moreover, plants like silphium and Chile sandalwood, which are more valuable trees in the world, but due to over harvesting and mining destruction, the eventual results are complete extinction from the world, and the amount of valuable population of plants and animals is declining. To explain the future scenario, it will face serious consequences from this tragedy.
Though there are quite a many disturbing effects of this trend, some negative consequences are going to be discussed here.
The first and foremost solution is reducing the cutting of trees and increasing afforestation (meaning planting trees), and secondly, prohibiting the hunting of animals and strictly taking action on hunters by the governments.
In conclusion, the ample evidence presented enables us to reasonably conclude that there are numerous reasons for the extinction of plants and animals such as pollution, global warming, and forest fires; however, the above reasons are the main evidence for the reduction.
