Increasing Remote work has been discouraged people to use of public transportation systems which results in a financial decrease on travelling systems. These issue has risen as most of the public travelling methods are less comforatble and they are crowded. As solutions, governments should introduce more methods to commute employees and provide more facilities ensuring the comfirtableness of people.

There are 2 major causes of declining the use of public trasportation by people including less comfortableness and high number of people using the public transports.Firstly, most of the buses and trains are having less facilities which results people in uncomfortableness discourage people to use public traveling methods. Most of the buses and trains have damaged seatings and they don’t have air conditions or other options for special people such as disable and pregnant mothers. It is very uncomfortable to the daily commuters who are using public trasports. For example, there are only a very limited buses in Sri Lanka which are supporting disable people by giving necessary facilities.Secondly, most of the time these public vehicles are very crowded and people have to stand for long distances if they do not have seats to sit which is very tiring especially for long distance travellers. For example, many people have used to stay in the foot boards of the buses without having seats and it is very unsafe way of travelling.

There are 2 key solutions that can be provided to ensure the sustainability of these public travelling modes such as providing more facilities ensuring the comfortableness of passengers and investing on more vehicles to the public by governments.Firstly, governments should more focus on providing facilities for public transports and consider individual’s comfortableness according to special guidelines. For example, public authorities should provide special facilities which are beneficial for special needy people and set certain standards to maintain the vehicles occasionally.Secondly, they should provide more new vehicles so that the increasing crowd can be manageable. For example, they should provide more modes of trasportation to specifically to the busy routes so that the people have several options to use.

In conclusion, the less comfortableness and increasing number of passengers using public transports have caused to lower the usage of public trasnportation by employees and it has resulted in negative financial impacts to the transpotation methods. To adress these issues governments should provide more facilities to the passengers and introduce various modes of transportation to decrease the rush in busy hours.
