There is a growing trend learning foreign languages from earlier year in many countries. In this essay why learning languages from young age is important are discussed and what drawback can be seen in this situation are mentioned.
There is a proverb about language skill; the more language you know, the more person you are. In this proverb importance of learning a new language is interpreted; so if someone can speak foreign language, he can easily makes communication with others and this skill stands out him in everywhere. Additionally, the research shows when person is bilingual, their brain functions are better than one language speakers. Because, they can think in two different languages at the same time and their brains begin to work smartly.
I conqur with the idea that the language must be learned from young age. In young ages brain is fresh, acceptance rate of new information is high and much easier to remember new learned words. After time passes, the brain cells begin to lost effectivenes, because in young generation a new cell creation in brain occurs faster than older generation.
The only drawback of knowing more languages than one is that sometimes the words can be mixed up. For instance, in our country there is university which called “French Azerbaijani UNiversity” . In this university the lesson are tought in English and the french language is in their compulsory subject, so student who studies in this univeristy sometime forget the words and they spell word in English or French. This results in misunderstading among students.
In conclusion, gaining skill from early ages is necessary; it helps develop brain functions and at early ages brain can accept information well. Howeve, if person use different languages at same time, it makes difficult to understand him.
