A well-paid and beneficial job is extremely important and gives an opportunity to live a happy and safe life. However, many people now struggle with finding a decent job in their hometowns. It forces them to leave. I am convinced that it is a bad tendency that leads to economical problems in the country.
If there is a lack of jobs in a separate part of the country, people will move to places where it is easier to earn money. If many people have left the city, there will be no means to maintain that city and to provide its citizens with good services. It may cause leave of even bigger amount of people. In a result, we will get a plenty of well-developed cities with great job opportunities and other poor regions.
First of all, the big cities are likely to be overcrowded. It is not easy to create infrastructure for megapolises, and people will be forced to deal with transportation problems. Secondly, it is just not rational to concentrate many people in one place. In case of a war it is hard to defend regions with poor economy and little amount of people.
I live in the biggest country in the world. I moved to the largest city in Europe because I wanted to get better life and job. But I used to live in an ordinary russian town and I regularly visit it now. I can say that my hometown significantly differs from the capital and has a lot of problems. Many people want to abandon it and move to the capital or another country. On the other side, Moscow is overpopulated now, and some locals are unhappy about that.
The examples above clearly show, that advantages for a separate person cannot outweigh disadvantages for the entire country. All countries should provide their citizens with workplaces in every town. In this case the economy will be distributed better and people will not need to leave friends and families to get a decent life.
