Urbanization has become a global trend nowadays. Most of the young generation is shifting towards the cities from villages which is more of a positive development than negative development. The relevant information for supporting this will be provided further in following paragraphs with examples.
To begin with, finding job is not an easy task in rural area as it lacks opportunities. Young professionals tend to look for high paying and relevant jobs and a village certainly can not provide such job vacancies. For example , its very less likely that professions like consultants, therapists, interior designers or a data analyst will find a job with reasonable pay in any rural area or even in small towns. Only few basic professions can settle down in a village with satisfying salary such as teacher, farmer, drivers , shopkeepers or doctors. To find employment with desirable pay and deserving opportunities, one should more to city.
Furthermore, Urban areas have more amenities as compare to a small town or countryside. Many villages do not have even basic facilities like hospitals and schools, villagers have to travel to travel for a considerable distance to access these facilities. and indeed communication is a difficult task in emergency situations. For instance, many patients die on the way to hospital because they do not have hospital in their village or hospital may unable to provide relevant treatment. Moreover, many students have to travel a large distance to reach schools in other places to get better education and resources. These are few reasons are this generation prefers to reallocate from rural to urban regions.
I opine that this is a positive development for the career as well as personal growth . Cities offer more comfortable land modern living style .
