In many parts of economically grown world, fast food is one of the most popular options to choose as they are easily affordable, leading to malnutrition in the near future. Since many of the younger generations are exposed to this environment, increased number of children with unbalanced diet has been reported.
One of the most developed countries such as United States is facing a problem, where purchasing fast food is cheaper than buying vegetables at the supermarket. Therefore, the government should work on to lower the price of vegetables or at least making them to the same price range allowing the public to easily reach out to get vegetables. Next, the heads of countries could be working on towards decreasing the number of places to get fast food, allowing fast food as a less easily accessible and reachable option of meal on a daily basis. Furthermore, there may be possibility of making fast food not a “fast” food. This solution comes from a concept where fast food restaurants are made to serve food as fast as possible, so developed countries are more likely to choose this option since they are more likely to be busy and may not have enough time.
For the governments to solve the problem where many people tend to eat fast food in a developed country as they are cheap and widely available all around the world, they could regulate the pricing of healthy meal and unhealthy meal to widen the options for the public. Additionally, reducing the number of fast food restaurants and making them harder to access to increase the psychological wall.
