The number of athletes who uses restricted substances is increasing, as to increase their performance in professional sports. Weak selection system and higher level of competition among players are major cause for this phenomenon. The possible solutions are imposing heavy fines and banning from sports.

Nowadays, competitor are stronger in every sport. Many players depend on banded substances like steroid in oder to increase their stamina which helps to outweigh other sport-person. Furthermore, there are many loopholes in selection criteria. The rules and regulation for selection are not strict enough, which is the reason they are encouraged to intake prohibited products. For instance, one of the football player of Nepal stated in an interview that selection team of Nepal were unknown about uses of drugs during games for many years. So, increasing competition and loose section method are encouraging players to used banned stuffs.

To reduce the use of unwanted substance in sport, excessive fines and expelling from competition should be implemented. Both monetary and physical punishment can discourage individual from using illegal supplements. For example, during Olympic Games, weight lifter from France was eliminated from game for using PED. After the detail investigation he was sentenced for four years of jail and two million dollar fine. Unless, the harsh punishment and heavy penalties are imposed the use of unwanted drugs can not be eliminated for sports.

To sum up, grater competition and lower level of strictness in selection procedure are encouraging gamers to use banned items; however, to minimize it aggressive law should be passed by sport committee.
