It is observed that the family structure and the duty of its members are gradually changing in our society over the period. This trends have both positive and negative impacts in our society. This essay will explain that what kinds of changes are occuring.
On the one hand, the family style is extremely crucial in our country although the role of family members are not good as compared to past years. People used to live in joint family which helps to make great relation with other family members. In the most of family, head person was grandparent and other members of family do their respectives works or jobs. It helps people to be more socialized and civilized. For instance, if people live in joint family then they can share their happiness and sadness with their husband, wife, father, or mother and also all the family members do their duty according to ability.
On the other hand, it seems to be good if the family structure is small. we can see that most of individuals want to live in nuclear family because small family is also called as happy family. It is easy to fulfill the basic needs of family members. For example, if we have big family then it is difficult to provide all the facilities for them but if we are living in nuclear family or small family it is easier to fulfill all the basic needs.
To boil all the eggs in single pot, it can seen that the family structure and role of its members are usually changing according to the time. So, it can easily understand that family structure has both merits and demerits over the period in our country.
