Many people feel that tests are an effective way of evaluating student’s academic standard, whereas others argue that they place needless stress on children and reveal little about what learners can really do. While both perspectives have merit, I believe that exams are the best way of measuring academic performance when necessary.
Education plays a crucial role in getting succeed. By providing students to pass the exams, to get the unviersity that they want, have some marked drawbacks while preparing for such hardway. A heavy academic workload gives significant pressure to student, especially the young ones, influencing to their both physical and brain activity. Moreover, exam circumstance makes young learners to be under stress and anxiety, meaning that they can not focus on questions and might fail. A great example will be China, because chinese students study extremely hard due to the large competition among them, and the percentage of getting succeed is lower than we expected.
On the other hand, others argue that students ought to deal with the difficulties on exams. I believe that exams are the best way of assessing students, showing how firmly the person got ready for a crunch moment in their life. Everyone sits the same paper under the same conditions, so results are easy to compare, where only studiosnesses will be chosen. One of the main reason of it,is to encourage revision and discipline in order to acquire industrious employees in the future, next to this, it helps students to cope with deadlines and pressure.
To sum up, exams provide fair, standardized way of measuring knowledge, yet they can also cause unnecessary stress and fail. Ultimately, coursework and continious assessment offer a well-rounded education of ability, they are harder to mark consistently.
