Nowadays, second – hand clothing become more common among young people. I think that it is happening due to the fashion trends and the costs of these clothes. From my perspective, trending second – hand clothes have a lot of advantages for seller and buyer both. Moreover, it has a good impact on environment.
In our world, full of different types of clothes, fashion play a huge role. Every teenager wants to be aware of recent trends and match them. Due to quickly change of fashion, it is more convenient to buy something from second- hand. Young generation can easily find clothing items that they are interested in and buy them more cheaper in second – hand shops. For example, recent research shows that almost 65% young individuals in Kazakhstan prefer to get clothes that have been used by other people instead of buy new ones.
Selling used clothing is more beneficial to both sides. People can just sell their clothes and make money from it rather than throw out them. Therefore, young adults can buy products for a lower cost. Also, it is help to against pollution in environment, and continuing this trend will lead to less amount of waste. For instance, in Japan, the pollution has decreased due to less consumerism of fast fashion clothing.
In conclusion, I strongly believe that second- hand products is the best way to reduce pollution and be able to keep your outfits fashionable without spending a lot of money.
