There are some group of individuals who prefer stability and resist alterations in their life as they are afraid from the challenges and risk involved. Whereas some people embrace changes and considered as opportunity for growth and development.
Firstly, many individuals are comfortable in their own environment and they are very reluctant to adapt accordingly. Familiarity provides sense of security within people and it will be very challenging for them to accept new challenges. For instance, older generations found very difficult to learn new technologies like smartphones, laptops or washing machines. Moreover, some teenagers who are not happy in their careers are reluctant to change according to their preferences because of the uncertainty, risks involved and family and societal pressure.
Secondly, many human beings clasp changes with the open arms as they consider it as opportunity for growth and development of individual and nation. For example introduction of LPG (Liberalization, Privatization and Globalization) reforms in 1991 has huge impact on Indian economy by increase in employment opportunities, import and exports, outsourcing of sources lead to increase in GDP of Indian economy. Moreover with advancements in technology, we can connect with our loved ones regardless of distance.
In conclusion, while some people prefer stability and resist changes in society and their lives but it is essential to look forward to the advantages associated with the fast pacing environment. Change is inevitable and essential for progress and improvement for better future outcomes. Dynamic environment is changing rapidly so it is advisable for people to react and be flexible for changes for their better livelihoods.
