After the twentieth century, many people saw some unidentified flying objects with or without telescope. Some people think that it is a clear evidence of other civilizations from other planets, and they also argue it can be useful for us to know more about them, while critics claim that it might lead to some problems that can threat human civilization. In my opinion, knowing more about these ‘extraterrestrials’ can have some noticeable benefits, although it might also pose a threat in some ways.
On the one hand, it might be dangerous to show our existence to them, since we do not know anything about them. This is because, we do not know whether they will be our friends or they will start a war against us in order to kill out us. Admittedly, it might be extremely dangerous if they become our enemies and try to kill the mankind. Therefore many people may prefer not to send signals to them.
On the other hand, if we connect with these ‘aliens’ it will not only be useful for our scientists to learn about them, but they may also teach us more valuable lessons. According to the NASA’s journal a lifetime of a civilization is around 4-7 billion years, so if we can talk to these extraterrestrials we might get more information about how to live more and methods or ways to resist global warming, aridity or infections. By doing so we may will be able to survive longer.
In conclusion, although some think that connecting with creatures from other planets may cause problems, I believe, we can take lessons from them about tackling life threats and problems
