Band 6+: In recent years, urbanization has long been a subject of debate, with some considering living in big cities is more beneficial than residing in rural areas

In recent years, urbanization has long been a subject of debate, with some considering living in big cities is more beneficial than residing in rural areas. While cities offer numerous advantages, such as job opportunities, enhanced healthcare, and other amenities, however it also presents some drawbacks, like noise and air pollution. This essay will discuss both benefits and drawbacks of urban life.

In today’s world, moving to cities is increasing fast among residents, as this offers myriad valuable opportunities and conveniences. For instance, people can get employment without difficulty, because modern cities are highly developing, allowing citizens to find suitable job opportunities. Especially, technology is advancing rapidly, such as factories, which individuals can be engaged in working, because if there are a great number of manufacturers, they will offer job opportunities for people. Additionally, another tangible benefit is healthcare system which increasingly enhancing, making patients healthier with modified medical techniques. For example, contemporary cities have various private medical centers, which offer many conveniences for public, such as techniques which can analyze accurate diagnoses. Moreover, urban life also has tremendous supermarkets, which are easy to purchase products we need.

On the other hand, residing in cities presents some serious disadvantages, such as air pollution, which arises from over-crowded public. For example, most individuals have private cars, which lead to contamination of the atmosphere, because cars produce substantial toxic gases, which harm our atmosphere and result different diseases among people, like heart disease and lung cancer. Furthermore, city life is full of noise as a result of advancements and crowded publicity. This is also immensely disadvantageous for population, which might lead to tiredness.

In conclusion, living in an urban area offers many tangible benefits, like job prospects and other highly beneficial amenities. However, we should not underestimate the downsides it brings, such as air pollution, which is extremely harmful for humanity, and also noise pollution, which results in tiredness.
