In the modern era, it has been a topical issue for citizens living in metropolitan zones to handle a large number of traffic on a global scale. This essay is aimed at discussing threatening issues and suggesting viable approaches to cope with this phenomenon with relevant examples to justify it.
For several factors, traffic has become the main problem in many cities and towns all over the world. Initially, one of the most significant issues of traffic congestion is that public transport has been increasingly unreliable in recent years. Due to the ever-rising demand of people about their possession which causes almost inhabitants to buy more than 3 private vehicles instead of having 1 or 2 cars as some years ago. The most feasible solution for this problem is that the administrations should encourage the dwellers to use public transport, besides, the services’s quality should be invested to improve the and attract more passengers.
Another serious threat for people residing in high densely population regions is that the transportation infrastructures are poor. For example, in some parts of Vietnam, the road system is narrow, while there are a lot of enormous vehicles including containers leading to the degradation and traffic jam became an acute phenomenon. However, to put an end to this problem, the authorities should implement to upgrade the quality of the road systems, besides, the congestion charge scheme should be carried out by the government to improve the awareness of the citizens when taking part in traffic.
In conclusion, there are a wide range number of different factors that have led to increasing the levels of traffic in metropolis areas. However, I believe that authority has solutions for these issues.
