In this contemperary era, in many cities people are using cars in place of cycles, whereas in other different cities they use bikes instead of cars. This essay will examine the reasons behind these trends. In my opinion, the second development is better.
Nowadays, most of the people in various cites prefere cars for some reasons. First of all, cars are private vechicles and it takes less time to reach any destination than bycycles. Secondly, private vechicles are safer than bikes in highways. Furthermore, at present cars are much cheaper than before. So, the people who can afford these private vechicles buy them in many cities. Because of these reasons cars are becoming popular day by day.
On the other hand, in many urban areas people are leaving cars and moving towards cycles for some benefits. Firstly, bycycles is cheaper than cars. Also, the maintainance cost of cycles are very low. Secondly, cycles are eco-friendly vechicles. For instance, it does not cause any carbon emmisios. Thirdly, the cities where there are always traffic jams, their residents use bikes to solve this issue. Moreover, cycling is benificial for human health. That is why most of the individuals prefere cycling over using cars. Besides, in many big cities the governments have established special lanes for bycyhcles for safety. Beacuse of these reasons I support using bycycles.
To sum up, though car is a private vechicle and luxurious, considering the circumstances bycycle can be the best means of transport.
