In many countries , both education and healthcare are essential for development because they are important factors in raising the quality of life . I believe that the government should invest more significant funding in education and healthcare than the arts . The benefits of investing in these fields can have a positive effect on many aspects of life such as : economics, awareness. First, when we spend money on healthcare, we can easily solve many health problems in society.For people, healthcare ensures their health is good enough to be active effectively in daily.Having a positive body and mind also helps people work better; therefore, it not only promotes individual finances but also boosts the nation’s economy. In addition, when everyone cares about their health, they also understand about their body and disease so they will have the knowledge and to be proactive in avoiding sickness and staying healthy. Consequently, citizens are rarely sick , reduce the amount of money on treatment of chronic disease (an illness is caused because of lack of taking care of health) and create a healthcare system which is cheaper ,more proactive in protecting health and doesn’t overwhelm the hospitals .In fact, Japan is the country with the highest life expectancy in the world because it has the good healthcare systems that ensure health and Japan’s government also allocates 11% of its GDP in health insurance annually .Next, investing in healthcare plays a crucial role in social security because healthcare is a part of employee benefits which is very important for workers, especially employee work in high-risk jobs. Second , the long term profits from spending on education- an important factor on future generations. First of all, education brings a study chance to everyone – this is a perfect method to enhance the knowledge of citizens .Moreover, a country that has great education will consolidate and boost the nation’s standing in the world because it shows the talents who can help their countries in the development of roads. Therefore, education is also a key to finding the talents in a country. Most importantly, Education teaches the next generations how to inherit, preserve and develop the traditions. Thanks to education , the government can also develop awareness of the tradition for the young with aims to promoting cultural identity more effectively and decrease the investment in the cultural sector. For example: in school, students learn history are able to expose to the past in an authentic way, and then they can gain a deeper understanding of history(example : we know the meaning of August Revolution is to liberate our country – Viet Nam and break the chain of slavery by French colonialism ),learn from history to avoid past mistakes ,such as :through Mỵ Châu story was told us never trust the enemy , respect and graceful for the legacy of our ancestors by many ways like : promotes the traditions and cultures through social media, celebrate 30/4 anniversary.
However, the government must spend funding on arts too because arts is a cultural identity , a unique beauty of a country . For these reasons, a funding on arts is also the another way to preserve the heritage of the country that still exist today
In conclusion, the government should have a plan for balance both social needs and cultural to aim for sustainable development , especially , when the budget is limited
