In the recent century, rapid industrialization in many countries has led to a phenomenon called pollution. Nowadays, in order to solve this issue, the governments have decided to change the location of industrial factories to help reduce air pollution in major cities. I think it is a logical solution for several reasons.
Firstly, air pollution causes numerous problems, including endangering the citizens health. According to the World Health Organization statistical information, the largest source of greenhouse gases emission, like CO2 and Methane, originates from industrial areas and businesses, leading to lung and heart diseases in humans. Additionally, air pollution can contaminate soil through rain, entering the food industry by agricultural products and causing different cancers and health problem for humans. So, relocating factories could prove effective in mitigating these issues.
Furthermore, controlling air pollution levels in each city requires detailed investigation to reduce them, which becomes complicated with the presence of large industries in every region. For instance, every metropolis experiences a certain level of air pollution due to gasoline cars and household fuels. The placement of large industries within cities only exacerbates this pollution, making it unavoidable. In addition, the placement of any industry in the region will make it easier to determine and measure the level of their air pollution distribution, and as a result, filters and reducing equipment specific to each factory can be used.
In conclusion, relocating industries is an effective solution for reducing pollution in countries where governments actively participate in their development. Despite the benefits for cities, this relocation may also lead to the expansion of industries into large areas outside urban centers
