In some authorities, employers can not refuse employees due to their age in terms of law norms. There are arguments on both sides, and I don’t think that age of applicants does not play vital role in working their field.
On the one hand, it might be said that, most companies always seek fitter workers and mastering the enough experience related to their profession. This means that employees do not pay attention their employees’ age and focus on strongly them who are assimilating the wealth of knowlodge or are able to achieve better career progression. For example, programmers are not crucial their age how old in working any company, and they can do many things at the same time than those who are older than them. Additionaly, Some companies don’t care about the age of a person who makes a profit.
On the one hand, companies decision is right to reject jop applicants for their age despite the illegal. That is to say, experiences and concepts in some professions are acquired over a period of years which is hard to attain. Especially doctors, for example, have to spend exclusively their time in progressing their jobs which could not be achieved in a short time. Thus, That’s why companies hire people based on age in these jobs, even if it breaks the law.
In conclusion, It depends on what profession the company needs, namely it needs only people with experience accumulated over a certain period of time, or some exceptional modern professions where age does not integral part.
