In the modern world, it has become much easier to travel between the countries for the sake of tourism. This has transformed our world into a global village. This development of international travel has both positive and negative consequences on different countries. In my perspective, the advantages of this situation are more prominent as compared to the disadvantages.
Firstly, the young students who want to excel in their field can travel to foreign countries to enhance their knowledge. For example, if a student wants to learn artificial intelligence, and his or her country does not have any institute that specializes in this field then he or she would have to travel to another nation to hone his or her skills in this field. Hence, this allows the students to greatly enhance their knowledge about the subject.
Secondly, it provides the businessman with an excellent opportunity to grow their business. They can travel to other countries to understand that how different businesses operate in other countries. This will help them in learning and bringing those practices back to their home country. For example, a company wants to automate their shoe making process. There are currently no production lines in the country that work with this technology. The businessman travels to China, and observes the operation of robots in the manufacturing of shoes. Consequently, he/she invests some money and brings back this technology to their home factory to increase production and quality.
Overall, there are a lot of benefits of overseas travel and tourism. Therefore, I think that although there are issues like smuggling and terrorism that have risen due to this development but the advantages surely outweigh the disadvantages.
