There is a significant difference between parental role in a number of societies. Because of 3 factors that make it different. Moreover, the development of parental role will have a positive impact in the future ,and there are several reasons for these.

In regard to the biological factors. Firstly, in gender distinction men and women have a range of differing sensation in physical and mental.Women experience pregnancy and delivery, which effect physical and emotional.To man, the higher willpower make them stick to overcome difficulties. However, due to the sensitivity of women that cause they could observe lots of details in daily life, like how to taking care of children, how to comforting a person and so on. In addition, women is more compassionate than men because of the affective thinking.So this is one of the reasons that cause the differences exist.

The cultural influences which is the same crucial problem. Various countries have distinction of belief, and religion that cause diversity of culture. For instance, In the 19th century Chinese women had a low status due to feudal system that women can’t accept education,apply for a job,they just need to get married and look after children as a full-time housewife. By contrast ,to man they have to apply for a job that get stable salary,support the family;and lots of works just admit man.So these result in status of men is much higher than women because of the cultural influences

With the development of society, each role’s responsibility and weight is changing. Female earning higher rank in both businesses and political field.Furthermore, the decision of who stays home and who goes to work maybe depend on their income level.It is possible for mothers to become the family breadwinner and fathers to be a full-time househusband.

In conclusion, these explain why role of mothers differ from and role of fathers and in the future, there will be more equitable in parental roles.
