It is true that there is a shortage of recycling of waste materials such as paper, cans… in some parts of the world. This issue can be resulted from two factors: lack of public awareness and ineffective measures.
Firstly, people do not really have awareness of reusing of waste. They are not provided any knowledge about the right use of waste. Instead of sorting the garbages, they put out trash in plastic bag which makes the environment become more serious. Maybe taking out trash directly is easier than waste classification. This not only waste resources but also harm live plants and human health. For instance, in Viet Nam, trash bag with many colors is commonly seen on the street that impact negatively scene in the city. Secondly, government also take responsibility for reusing waste. Because they do not have strict policies for residents. Therefore, people do not know what should they do. For example, in Japan, the authority always strict measures to enhance public awareness of using waste. Before put out the trash, they also have wash their product to protect environment and human health.
Solving this problem is not completely difficult. All residents should be trained properly about sorting the garbages so it’s waste many time to clean and keep a clean space. Plus, government should have effective policies or strict punishment for everyone. Besides, activities about waste should be organized and spread such as Green Exchange.
In conclusion, the shortage of recycling waste materials is driven by many factors but this problem is still addressed. People should change the way of looking about the importance of reusing waste and the head of country should consider measures effectively.
