In recent decades, the traditional educational system significantly changed. In some countries young generation mostly relay on working skills instead of attending universities. From my perspective, some information in universities became outdated, and not needed to be successful in particular spheres.
Firstly, some specialities concetrate on theory that helps individuals to achieve basic understanding in spesific spheres. Without graduation young generation may not find a job because of lack knowledge, or even hurt others unintentionally. For instance, some people started to work as a cosmetologist without medical education, and because of their actions a lot of people were hurted. It is essential to get a degree when it comes to society health or safety.
Secondly, the educational system became outdated, and knowledge that universities represents are useless. Many schools did not update study programms for a long period of time, while world’s trend substantially changed. From my own experience, as a student who study lingustic I faced a lot problems because of poor educational system that mostly relay on medivial times. In contrast, I advance my knowledge while I am cooperating with international people, and searching the information in the Internet.
In conclusion, attending universities is not important when it comes to humanities studies because mostly information there are arleady known, or outdated. So, young people may choose to enrol in work-based training to achieve a goal. However, medical and scientific studies are essential for students to become a professional, and have an advance knowledge to prevent mistakes or unforseen consequences to society.
