This essay will explore both the causes and potential solutions to the high levels of pressure experienced by students.

One of the primary causes of this issue is the intense competition among students. Many students are highly motivated to excel in their studies, which leaves them with very little leisure time. For instance, a current report on the Academic Performance Index published by the Kerala government indicated that academic performance has improved dramatically compared to the previous year, largely because many students are attending tutoring sessions across various locations every day. Additionally, the complexity of the subjects contributes to students’ struggles, resulting in insufficient time to grasp the material fully. Furthermore, in pursuit of a better standard of living, students often choose to pursue higher education in different countries to enhance their quality of life.

To address these challenges, it is essential to adopt modern educational approaches. In many countries, the government is incorporating leisure time into the academic schedule, which helps students relax and bolster their productivity without overwhelming them. Additionally, a lack of support can exacerbate the situation; many students do not receive sufficient consideration from their guardians, leading them to devote extra hours to studying. Parents should actively encourage their children to participate in extracurricular activities, such as outings to parks or shopping trips.

In conclusion, many students in the modern world are heavily focused on their studies and are not engaging in other activities. The main factors contributing to this phenomenon are competition and the pursuit of better living standards. Possible solutions to these problems include implementing new educational methods and providing greater support from parents.
