In today’s era, people are smoking too much without even knowing about the catastrophic ramifications which it can cause on the health.Smoking at public places have increased and most of the countries are taking action to ban this activity especially in community places.According to me,it is necessary to stop this practice at the earliest and the ways in which it can be finished will be explained in the upcoming paragraphs.

To commence with, punishment or big fines can be the approach taken into consideration to cease smoking. To explain this, countries can make strict rules and regulations to punish people or to find them with a huge amount so that masses can tak it seriously and prevent themselves from smoking at public places as well as their homes. For instance,A headline in BBC (British Broadcasting Corporation) news depicted that there is a decline in the number of public smokers in most parts of Canada because the government is taking strict action.Hence, great regulations mean great country with outstanding citizens.

Furthermore, health education can be the step through which smoking can come to end.To explicate it, government authorities can make policies to create awareness about the health hazards associated with smoking.Masses can be given pragmatic education which Will not only make them aware about the effects but also make them healthy conscious. To cite an example,A study carried out in Toronto University revealed that the individuals taking health education are more active and worried about their health as compared to the other individuals. Thus, health education policies can be considered as a good approach.

In conclusion, smoking is harmful whether it is passive or active. The government can take some steps through which this activity will extinct from every country in coming years.
