In the modern era, it is noteworthy that childfree trend among a younger generation covers more and more countries. Younger people tend to avoid having a baby because of many reasons, and that has become one of the most alarming problems nowadays. I share the standpoint that this trend has a negative effect rather than a positive one.
To begin with, this problem has arisen from the more conscious approach of a younger generation to have children. International research shows that in the contemporary era young people refuse to have a baby before the age of 30 due to poverty, lack of a personal property, or an unstable political situation in the world. All these facts create a feeling of unpreparedness for parenthood among young people. It has led to the drop in the birth rate and made a disproportionate ratio of different generations in the world.
In terms of this tendency, a humanity may have too many issues in future. That is why I think that an excessive number of older people lead us to some negative repercussions. The most notable disadvantage can be a labor shortage. Older people are physically disable to work harder instead of a younger generation that has more energy for their working tasks. Due to this fact, the shortage of younger specialists can be the most alarming problem for an economic situation and a labor market of divers countries in the world.
To conclude the above, the childfree tendency of a younger generation can lead to the lack of children and, subsequently, to the shortage of new specialists in the long run. I believe that government should foster people for having children and provide them with the special conditions. This actions may help avoid a destabilization in the ratios of generations and make the future labor market stable.
